Jerusalem L. Ham, a student of Bachelor of Arts in Communication (SY 2021-2022) at UC College of Arts and Sciences and a Benguet-based filmmaker, is the director of Bangir Nga Lubong. The film is shortlisted as an official selection for the Narrative Shorts Category of the Montaรฑosa Film Festival 2022.
Bangir Nga Lubong narrates the story of James Dipus who wakes up in the purgatory without knowing that he’s dead. There, he is shown all the sins he has done in his lifetime.
Jerusalem has entered numerous film festivals like the Arte Sine Film Festival and the Ibag-iw Film Festival. As an accomplished filmmaker and multimedia director, he has established his name in the Cordillera Administrative Region through several event coverages and commercial shoots from various brands. Recently, he was the visual director of one of DepEd TV Baguio Division’s projects.
He is also engaged in building communities through partnerships and collaborations with different video productions to empower the youths and communities through their videos and films. He has served as an instructor in several workshops and lectures about film and filming.
