The Baguio City Police Office, particularly Station 7, maintains its practice of enlisting university faculty members as part of their station advisory group. Dr. Ariel Nimo Pumecha serves as the Chairman of the Station 7 Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (SAGPTD). He leads the group’s meetings, where they address the station’s issues and concerns, assisting police personnel in resolving them.

Dr. Pumecha has actively served as the SAGPTD Chairman since the station’s inception, its compliance phase, and its proficiency phase, which earned them a silver eagle award under their Performance Governance System (PGS). These phases took place in 2014, 2016, and 2019, respectively. The University is dedicated to sharing its expertise with external stakeholders to tackle challenges related to peace and order.
