Ronald S. Fernandez, MA English Language Studies student and currently the UC Corporate Communications Office Tech Assistant, tackles emancipation trends in the Cordillera Region through his newest novel entitled “Silhouettes of Dead Stars over the Cordillera Range” pre-launched at the Philippine Book Fair and Benguet Provincial Capitol in December 2022.

He was selected as a writer fellow in two writing workshops in the region: 8th Cordillera Creative Writing Workshop and the 1st Benguet Indigenous Youth Arts Guild.

He was selected as an observer in the 11th Pasnaan Ilokano Writers Workshop.
