Sofia G. Palbusa, a grade 8 student at UC Integrated School, bagged 1st Place during the Science Creative Writing in English Competition of the National Marathon of Skills and Talents 2023 organized by the Association of Science and Mathematics Educators of Philippine Private Schools.

With seven participants, the competition was conducted online on April 15, 2023.
